Lava lamps are back, but unless you're in the UK or lucky to find a local importer, you won't get the OG Mathmos stateside. And then you have weird ass renditions from Spencers (Insane Clown Posse? Spongebob?) that will probably never be plugged in outside of the Chinese warehouse they've been in since 1992.

This one in pink or the sky blue (note the rocket-top) is second best.
